A guide, not a weighed quantity
The starting density of 1.6 tonnes per cubic metre is an estimate, not a specification for every material. Moisture, grading and compaction change the quantity required. Ask us to confirm a suitable allowance before ordering.
The calculation is length × width × depth. Volume is then multiplied by your estimated bulk density. Bulk bags are rounded up to the next whole 800 kg bag.
