Bulk bags or loose aggregates: which should I order?
Compare bulk bags, loose tipped aggregates and 20kg collection bags. Check quantities, storage and delivery access before ordering in Lincolnshire.
Choose around your quantity and unloading space
Bulk bags keep materials separate on site. Loose tipped delivery is an option for larger aggregate orders where there is a safe tipping point. Small 20kg bags are available for collection when you need a smaller quantity.

Compare like-for-like quantities
A bulk bag is a packaging format, not another name for a tonne. Read the listed bag weight for the product you are buying. Bark and compost bulk bags are listed by volume, so compare them in litres rather than treating them as aggregate tonnes.
For example, if a product is listed in 800kg bags, three bags contain 2,400kg: 2.4 metric tonnes. This example explains the arithmetic; it does not replace the size shown on your chosen product or the final order confirmation.
Ask for the complete delivered price
Compare the same material and grade, the same total quantity and the delivery charge. Our eligible bulk-bag orders of three or more bags receive a 10% discount. Loose loads are priced separately. Free delivery applies within 10 miles of our Whisby Road office; send your full postcode for other delivery charges.
